Philosophy, religion, politics, money, and sex... Things that really matter to other people, and that we in Western Civilization HAVE to start talking about, if we want to survive.
Your Mother, so I could slap her and ask her what the hell she was thinking.
You Are 44% Strange! You are a bit strange, though still more normal than strange. You definitely have some quirks, don't get me wrong. But you aren't exactly freaking out old ladies on the street. It's okay though, you've got a healthy mixture of strangeness and normality.
How Strange Are You?
Lately it's been Louis Armstrong, Jonny Cash, Hank Williams, Sr., and Dixieland Jazz. But I also like '50s rock and roll, rockabilly, Social Distortion, Wyclef Jean, Eminem, Dre, George Michael and Madonna.
My favorite movies are old musicals or movies about entertainers. i.e. Beyond The Sea, Walk The Line, Great Balls of Fire, Guys and Dolls, Hello Dolly, Moulin Rouge, Chicago, Singin' In The Rain. Oh and John Wayne movies.
And I just recently watched Harold and Maud, and that's now on my all-time list of beautiful tragic love stories that make a mofo want to bitch slap the man who ever directed it, 'cause it just wrenches your heart right out.Television rots your brain, so I only watch CSI and People's Court.
And sometimes I watch Montel, or the Sci Fi channel. But never Oprah or Dr. Phil. They're not good people.
Anything sci-fi. (Yeah, I'm a fan, and I call it sci-fi. Is that a problem?)
I also like books on Eastern religion and mysticism. It's fascinating to me, to study something like Kundalini, and to try and understand what all the terms and the "secret knowledge" actually means, to a Westerner.Robert Heinlein, Spider Robinson, Patrick Henry, Uncle Tom, Ella Fitzgerald, George Bush Jr., Wyclef Jean, Buddy Holly, Louis Armstrong, Martin Luther King Jr., Al Capone, Jerry Lee Lewis, Ray Charles, Sting, Tina Turner, Thomas Jefferson, Obi Wan Kinobe, and sometimes Teddy Pendergrass.
And my dad.And Peter Petrelli. REPRESENT!
