About Me

Demilliac was into music already at a tender age. First in church choirs, then along with local pistoleros of his first rock groups in Geneva. Alongside his music, in order to widen his artistic horizons, Demilliac dabbled in theatre, performing in several different musicals. In the middle of the 1990's, Fred lent his voice to the well-named group Diva. During the same period, Demilliac learned how to play guitar, allowing him to compose his own songs thereafter. This was an important turning point in his carreer as a singer. In association with his ex-wife, the New Zealander Julie who took care of concocting the lyrics, Demilliac reached new levels. Concretely, in march 1999, the Geneva native contacted the young London producer Matt Hay (Robbie Williams, Cay, Babybird, Witness), offered him five compositions from his best collection, and recorded three of them in the famous Rak Studio in London. Riding the wave Demilliac also put down on tape seven other titles with the help of guitarist and arranger Serge Morattel at Rec Studio in Geneva. Demilliac's first album, "Peace of Cruising Rhythm", was born (distribution EMI). And what a slap in the face! This album took Demilliac to another level. The single "Climbing the Vine" reaching the nation radio charts allowing Demilliac to perform practically out of nowhere on some of the most pestigious stages (Montreux Jazz Festival, Paleo, Gampel)and in most of clubs you can find in the country. 2003 "Images" (distribution RECREC). With mainly TVO (Thierry Van Osselt) but also with the contribution of Serge Morattel who co-produced his first album-two of the most talented producers of the Geneva local scene, "Images", a second album that deftly mixes electronic modern ambience with very acoustic sound, a very personal album which expresses the experience lived during this period of his life. Time for me to introduce my third album " 40 Muckross Avenue" a mixed of electro-folk-pop songs, recorded at TVO Studio. Arranged and produced between july and august 2006 by Thierry Van Osselt. Alex Craker, Thierry Van Osselt, Casagrande, and myself were played on it. I will hope you enjoy the album and i'll see you soon on stage to perform "40 Muckross Avenue" Cheers I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.1 I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.1
