Kim Fujiwara has spent over 25 years specializing in advertising illustration, editorial art, cartoons, portraits, logo design, and concept presentations. From cartoons and conceptual renderings to portraits and montage art, Kim's versatility to use several techniques and mediums are unmatched in the industry. He has had the privilege to work with several top Fortune 500 companies and some of the finest graphic designers, art directors, and publishers in the country.After graduating from The Center for Creative Studies (CCS) in 1979, Kim worked at major art studios in and around the Detroit area for 12 years. During this period, he also instructed classes at CCS for 5 years. Currently he runs his own studio and still creates visual excitement with a unique entrepreneurial spirit for major clients and pursuing limited edition PIN-UP art.Kim's work has appeared on national ads, book covers, editorials, magazine covers, CD covers, posters, brochures, billboards, annual reports, point-of-purchase, and children's books.Some works have included portraits of celebrities such as Arnold Palmer, Jack NIcholas, Henry Ford, George Kell, Ben Wright, Al Unser Jr.,Isiah Thomas, Ken Venturi, Phil Mickelson, Hillary Clinton for the Washington Post, and a limited-edition print of Shaquille O'Neal. His work appears in several children's books including, Carlos Montezuma, Ishi, Science Adventures/ Whales, and Italian Portraits.Some of his recent works include portrait montages for Ford Motor Company's NADA awards, a painting of GM headquarters presented to Jack Smith, (chairman of General Motors), postcards for Chrysler consisting of painted cars and backgrounds of the P.T. Cruiser, the Sebring, and the Town and Country, a mural for The Coffee Beanery, logo and program cover for the first annual Concours d' Elegance in Southfield, artwork for wine labels for collector's series of MIchigan wines from Cherry Creek Cellars,
