Formed in 2001 with the ambition to have fun playing fuzz rock n.. roll.

79 AD. Stray dogs prowl the busy streets of Pompei. As a matter of fact, the city is widely known for its many canine inhabitants. Nearby, Vesuvio the mighty volcano is the ever-present, hostile neighbor. This particular day, things appear as always. But theyre not. The sudden eruption changes everything in a flash. The violent blast entombs everyone in a relentless rain of ashes. Well, not quite everyone. The night before, the dogs of Pompei left in silence.

New recordings in September 2006

Once again dogs of pompei will hit the studio. Second week of September is scheduled for recording of a 3 or 4 piece demo. Watch out for posted bone breaking riffs soooooon. ;-)
