Influences: the rain, passing cars, boredom, the inherent humour of pants, whatever's lying about, afternoon naps with those funny drifty-iny-outty dreams, disillusionment, illusions, toast.
I'm going to concede to putting the names of some musics I listen to because I now realise that's how you get searched and I'd quite like to get searched. Also I chose genres according to mutual physical imcompatibility rather than categorical appropriatude. The best band is Quickspace. The second best band beginning with Qu is Quasi. I'm currently going mental over Bird Names. I would mount Max Tundra if he was trotting past my kennel. Ariel Pink keeps making me not listen to anything else. Hvratski. Hefner. Stereo Total. Cursor Miner has some very good songs when he's not being all dancey. Salako. Olivia Tremor Control. Marshmallow Coast - the acceptable face of mediocrity. Lilys (they're better than you think). Mr Tom Waits. Vincent Gallo's When album is quite divine. Clinic. Kraftwerk. Smog. Yo La Tengo. The Velvet Underground. Grandaddy. The Flaming Lips though frankly I think they've got carried away somewhat of late. Beck before he went shit. Broadcast. The Wave Pictures are proving to be a croonier Hefner for the noughties. They're ace. That sort of thing. And of course The Wits and their component parts. And The Clooneys. They're a real band you know.
