Scissors Me Timbers

About Me

First off, I'm a philosopher and a stargazer and these things often come hand in hand for me. My favorite place to be at night is just around 55th St. where you can start to somewhat see the stars on a clear night. Then, I could sit for hours and talk about how there are days that I think the world is so beautiful that it had to have had a great designer or there are also days when I think that the Universe, although beautiful, is just here as the beginning of time and eternity. Secondly, I guess I would state that by nature I'm shy around people I first meet, but then I become one of the loudest and most talkative people you will ever meet. I am everything a woman should be. I'm most excellent at card games, but I'm not that competitive about anything at all. I'm straightforward because I don't like making people guess what I'm feeling. Also, my hair is usually rotated between being red or being black or being black with a red tint. I like change. Whenever I feel bad about a situation I have no control over, I change my hair. Eventually, I want to get a tattoo of a 1950's-esque swallow, because I like the freedom that a bird represents as well as the fact that the 1950's were basically my childhood and teen years as my parents owned a 50's themed restaurant. I'm pretty much cool, but. you can figure that out for yourself.

My Interests

sports, softball, the learning, music, JMU, telling stories, reading.

I'd like to meet:

Pete Yorn and Jenny Lewis from Rilo Kiley.

But more realistically, I'd like to meet the people who think for themselves, the people who turn a late night into an early morning, the people who really are mad to live, the people who don't scare off too easily, guys who don't get intimidated or aren't out to use women, guys that actually know what they want and strive to get it as opposed to thinking something better (pfff!) will come along. I also wouldn't mind meeting a dinosaur.
