Virginia Mass Choir Directed by Earl Bynum

About Me

The Virginia Mass Choir began in April of 2006, and is blessed to have more than 100 of the most talented singers, songwriters, musicians, and directors from Hampton Roads, Richmond, Danville, and several other cities. They have gathered together in song and their message is clear; Our talents are not our own, but are given to us so that we may worship the Lord for all of His marvelous works. This choir, under the direction of Earl Bynum, has a special anointing because each choir member has a testimony of Gods love, healing, forgiveness and grace. Combined testimony anoints every song they sing. They worship God with all fervency because they know that they are saved not by their own efforts, but only because of Gods mercy. The Virginia Mass Choir will minister not just to the state of Virginia, but will touch all nations because the word of the Lord says that when we gather in one accord in His name He will be in our midst.
Since coming together, the Virginia Mass Choir has been in concert in Richmond with former R&B singer (turned gospel singer), Tony Terry. Also the Virginia Mass Choir traveled to Florida to participate in Bobby Jones' bi-annual International Gospel Industry Retreat at the Westin Diplomat Resort in Hollywood, Florida, there the choir sung as well as sung backup for Stellar Award nominee The Craig Brothers. Segments from the International Gospel Industry Retreat will air on The Word Network.
March 2007 the choir traveled to New York to participate in the 40th Board Meeting of the Gospel Music Workshop of America (GMWA). April 2007, the Virginia Mass Choir was in concert with Grammy award winning CeCe Winans. June 2007, the choir also was in concert with J Moss. In August 2007 the Virginia Mass Choir traveled to Florida to participate in the 40th Annual Gospel Music Workshop of America (GMWA) Convention. There, the choir shared the stage with the Clark Sisters, the Pace Sisters, and sang backup for the Craig Brothers again.
