Alone I stood, bewildered, 'neath an unbound sky. Shreds of assumption, annihilated by disgust, tumbled down, helter-skelter, to plump down gently onto the scarlet dust lit up by a mere existence's sigh.Soulless scenes of daily abundance left me indifferent. The thrushes' song was a mere reality driven by existence, the merchants's early morning fuss was as closing as the water round fish, with their a-yelling and a-selling, mechanic-wise, as if made by a watchmaker.Words that used to be overflowingly filled with meaning like comfort, friendship, trust,... were nothing but desolate entities anymore, coincidently formed by one, worn out of constantly thinking about how they would be received by the receiver.I turned around, turned my back to the city and heaved up my eyes to the horizon. A smile broke onto my lips as I realised I had already hopped on my train of thoughts even before I started walking.
I was elsewhere bound.
