I live in Oklahoma with my husband and high school sweetheart, Josh. We just had our dream wedding on November 1 and I couldn't have asked for a better time! It was truly the best day of my life. I never knew I could love someone as much as I love him. He is the most amazing man and I am the luckiest girl in the world to have him as my husband and to be his wife. We are headed to Jamaica for 9 days in June and I can't wait!!!
I have finally graduated with a bachelor's degree in advertising. I work at the Enid News and Eagle as a page designer/copy editor. I hate the hours but time flies at work when you're trying to get the daily paper out. Look for my pages! And holler if you find any mistakes on MY pages!
My goal in life is to one day work in advertising or marketing. I'd like to move to Chicago, Denver or Kansas City one day, but I am willing to go wherever life takes me. Another goal I have is to own an animal sanctuary so all homeless animals can have a place to call home.
A few facts about me that you may or may not know, care or may not care, but here they are anyway cause I had a bit of time on my hands:
- Sometimes I secretly like living in a small town. It has it's advantages, but my heart is really in the big city.
- I'm as blind as a bat. I cannot see farther than about a foot in front of me without my contacts or glasses.
- I have a uncontrollable weakness for brownies. Literally! I love them.
- My puppies are both rescue dogs. I don't think there is anything better. My kitten is a rescue as well, the lucky duck.
- I HATE that people feel the need to breed dogs or pay obscene amounts of money for animals when there are millions of animals across the nation that are in desperate need of homes. If you want pure breds, they are also available in shelters as well. I'm sorry if I offend you on this subject. Deal with it because that is how I feel and I'm sticking to it.
- I hate people who take credit for work they have never done. Especially if others work their ass off.
- I HATE spiders! I'm terrified of them and there is no cure for my phobia!
- I don't like people who lie to me or make up excuses. It pisses me off and I am not stupid. Unless you are an exceptional liar, I can usually tell.
- I miss my family and friends back in Chicago IMMENSELY!
- I am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason.
- Jeremy Piven and John Corbett are HOT!!!
- My favorite football player is Adrian Peterson. It's a small obsession I have. That man can run like the wind. He needs to leave the Vikings and play for Dallas. My Cowboys would then be complete. Amazing! What a man!
- Yes. I sing in the car. And damn do I sound good. :)
- I cuss like a sailor. If you don't like it, I apologize but it's just who I am. Buy me a good thesaurus; maybe that will help (I need one for work so make it a good one).
