Witness was founded by Kashif in 2005. He shared the idea of starting a gospel group with his sisters.
They roughly and harshly neglected the idea. Kashif persued his dream and repeatedly brought up the idea until they finally gave in.
They underwent several name changes such as The CeCe's and The Chirlons. They argued until they came up with an intriguing name. Thus Witness was born, on a cold winter day. They later went on to add newest member Shavonna and togther they became Witness.
A couple of months later, they changed thier name to Tru Witness due to legal issues.
Through many member changes and things of that such they are still here today.
"I don't want to talk about it, not on Myspace nor for any other media center. I don't want to open up old wounds," Kashif exclaimed.
Tru Witness has come back together under the name SA.I.N.T. Standing for, So-Absolutely-Into-Nazerithic-Things.
Sadly, S.A.I.N.T. announced thier splitting in mid-2008, just on the peak of debut
"But now this is my page!" Kashif announces "And it's time to move on."
In early 2008, Kashif performed at the world renowned Carnigie Hall in the montage ,"Hair". He was cast one of two lead roles, Claude Hooper Bukowski, and the other played by Edvin Ortega, which was Burgher.
"I had fun" Kashif recalls, "But the director wanted me to bust through two lines of people and ad-lib like crazy! I am not that kind of divo."
Later on, Kashif recorded 'The Circle of Life'. "I am so excited about all my to be rendezvous'!"
