Ocean Delay are a Brighton based four piece band consisting of Anna Searight, Stuart Bramwell, Mike Calleja and Robbie Hookins. Drawing from wide generic influences such as Tracy Chapman, Miles Davis, James Brown and Audioslave, they create a blend of serene compositions and haunting melodies.
First formed in 2006 when they met at music college in Brighton, Ocean Delay played at various venues in Brighton with both a full band and two piece acoustic line-ups. The band recorded their first demo in the summer of 06' and went onto recording a six track mini album at Metway studio in March 07.
This year has been the year of change for the band and with Anna dusting off her old electric guitar and investing in a distortion pedal, things are about to get interesting! The band recorded a brand new song, 'Feel the Way I Want You To' and are about to embark on another gigging expedition!
