Welcome To Hell

About Me

Formed from the ashes of both "Miso" and "Evolutiont6" ...Statik consists of but Yan ,having a fairly phoenomenal knowledge of music in his favourite genres and his own particular music and writing style he collaborates on and off with people on different ideas and audio visual ventures..Yan's experience started when he first took up guitar on a borrowed black Gibson Epiphone SG and a Marshall 30RCD playing for a death metal band called "Pigf*cker"with James and Tom Morley and Rael Bearman. The band went well for a while but after a few tapes of material the band started to lack inspiration and decided to call it a day much to the annoyance of Yan who knew he was just getting started. After that he basically bounced around with Phil Andrews and Jo Moss to form the band "Deliverance" after finally agreeing on the name...sadly the band kinda fell apart due to Jo's constant holidays and trips around the world and the lack of enthusiasm from her. So that band broke up and left Yan kinda stood out in the cold with his guitar and at the time very basic skills. He then went on to join "Evolution6" with Michael and Andrew Torr and called in Marc Tobias on drums, sadly that band had major disagreements on stuff which later led to disbandedment due to members leaving but Yan reformed after a break, with fellow Evo6 guitarist Andy, to form Miso.Yan has also been known to play in a few of his college bands in which he played a gig at Club Riga, Southend under the name of "Anal" which was a fusion of heavy metal riffs and garage mc'ing. If Yan counted up all the little musical things he has done with people he could quite easily say he has assisted in about 7 or 8 different bands.(Bio Taken from the Miso Website.
