About Me

Melu is a four piece group from Stockholm that combines post-rock guitars and indie pop harmonies with the energy of punk. The aim is to create a sound that’s fresh and always in progress.
The band was formed in the spring of 2006 and consists of Anders Carlborg (guitar, vocals), Adrian Hörnquist (drums), Joakim Andersson (bass, vocals) and Robert Linde (guitar). All members origin from the town of Linköping and have a past in various pop, hardcore- and metal bands from that area.
After four demo recordings Melu have now released their fifth, 3 tracks of jagged guitars, soft harmonies and lively playing that won’t leave you unaffected.
No time to waste, join the cause, get your knives out!
/Stockholm April, 2009.
