About Me

..Vertical Blanking Interval..

Martin Jacklin and Graeme Feltham are Sound and Performance artists. Their first live performance was at the launch of an independent art gallery in Johannesburg in 1990. Their first full studio album came out in 2007. The Day the Earth Stood Still has been described as an enigma, as "an F. Scott Fitzgerald character reading from religious texts with Kerouac on Piano in the distance". Their second album has tinges of celtic, world and african sound 50's electro, country, Shakespeare and Tesla. VBI is named after a part of the TV signal that tells the tube to clear the screen and start a new frame.
