COUSINS OF THE WIZE was formed in Phoenix in 1997. This site celebrates the early years from 1997-2003, before COTW took a two year hiatus to which they never intended to return. In thos 7 years, Cousins created groundbreaking live experimental hip-hop music with a blend of 7 musicians from polar opposites. In the coming months we encourage people to tell the wild stories of one of Americas biggest party bands of all time. For the people that were there and the new fans interested in the history of the trials, tribulations,triumphs and tragedys....To keep alive an era where CPT was a staple in the nations music scene...This site is a celebration and Im proud to say I was a part of it all and to have experienced it with the wonderful people we met along the way...enjoy
