About Me

Yeah...just made it through my first year of being self employed! I started my own remodeling business called A+ Remodeling. It's now my life. They say you can pick your hours, be your own boss....blah, blah. It runs my life, but I love it. When i'm not covered in drywall dust, sawdust, or workin in the hot sun...I like anything involving the outdoors. Put me in some water, give me a rock to climb, or I can just kick back and listen to good music. I have an amazing group of friends and a wonderful family. My 6 yr old son Parker just started school, my brother's finally home from Iraq and working with me, and my parents live in Pechuca, Mexico and are missionaries there.

My Interests

I love hiking, camping, rock climbing and swimming. Work keeps me busy and my mind occupied. Besides trying to stay active outside, I enjoy movies, working on cars/motorcycles, building stuff and playing pool and soccer. I love drawing and writing.

I'd like to meet:

I like to meet all kinds of people. I like to mingle, sometimes sit alone...like talking over coffee or having a drink. I enjoy someone that can look me in the eye, have good conversation, and that enjoy a good laugh.

Music:

Anything with a good beat. Gomez, led zepplin, BB King, Miles Davis, Audioslave, Stone temple pilots, janes's addiction, the beatles, pink floyd, faith no more, jurassic 5, the beastie boys, black eyed peas, tribe called quest, the roots, p.o.d., eric clapton, Rhinoceros, the raconteurs, jamie cullem, david gray, allman brothers band, skynard...that's it for now.

Movies:

I love movies. Top ten...Braveheart, Heat, High fidelity, Lock stock and 2 smoking barrels, snatch, pool hall junkies, boondock saints, conspiracy theory, running scared(new version), and payback. Best series...probably lethal weapon. Mel gibson is my favorite actor.

Television:

Smallville, Lost, The ultimate fighter, Law & order, Heroes, The Closer, and of course...Scrubs!

Books:

Anything by Dean Koontz...he rocks!!

Heroes:

My parents, my brother, and russell..my best friend who past away 9 yrs. ago...i've learned the most from them.

Ouch!!!

So...I learned something today. It hurts really bad if you smack yourself in the face with a digging bar. For anyone who doesn't know, a digging bar weighs about 30 pounds, give or take 5 ...
