i'm not much of a "so tell me about yourself" person. but i will tell you a bit about me.
My name is Max and i would not prefer to be called Maxine. i know that is the name i was born with, but it is too long and drawn out. i like things short, straight, and to the point. i'm not really a party girl. i guess i grew out of it because i did a lot of it when i was younger. staying home is more my thing. Though, it seems to be the stereo-type here in Jacksonville that if you're under 85 you're a party animal and have numerous amounts of STDs......simply not true, about me or any of the people i know.here's the story of my life: i was born in denver, co. after i graduated college i moved to L.A. in hopes of becoming a singer. (isn't that the reason why we go to los angeles in the first place? to try to "become" something? lol.) i was out there for six months and decided that L.A. wasn't for me. i did a few auditions in those months, sung on the streets, at open-mic nights, at clubs, anything that i could do, i did. after about six months i decided that it wasn't for me. after that i moved to orlando, florida. i lived with a friend for a few months and in those few months i decided that there was too much drama and drunk old men in good ol' o-town for me to handle. a few months before i planned to move out of orlando i met a girl from jacksonville, florida. she told me a little about jacksonville. i can't tell you that i feel in love with jacksonville, but it's small size compared to orlando made me love it. within a month i moved to jacksonville and i've been here ever since. from the big city of denver to los angeles, to orlando to jacksonville.....i've been around the block and i'm not afraid to admit it. i'm in jacksonville, florida currently and even though i still hate the drama around this place, i've found that there are a select few people that you can get along with, trust, and share your life with. and that is much better than traveling around trying to find myself. i'm happyI work for a marketing business in Jacksonville Beach; i work with clients for business development advertisting. glamourous, huh? not really. though it does have it's perks at times, the business isn't really great if the people you work with are all a pain in the ASS. my real passion is photography. i like to be both in front and behind the lens. i believe that you don't know the real art in anything unless you've experienced it from all perspectives. (my chaotic friend told me that once, and it's been my motto ever since.)
