About Me

I'm a wife of 7 years, a mother of a two year old and a baby on the way. I've got a masters degree in marriage and family therapy. I am mostly a stay at home mom (for now), but I do have two part time contract jobs as an agency social worker. My life is pretty calm and smooth sailing for now, with it's occassional storms, but they don't last long.

My Interests

I love to read! I love to shop (although funds aren't always good for that type of interest). I love hanging out with friends. I love playing with my son, he is very entertaining.

I'd like to meet:

I'd like to just stay in touch more with the friends I already have, it's so hard these days sometimes to stay connected.

Music:

Tori Amos is my all time favorite artists. I do listen to different music, whatever my mood is wanting. So sometimes my favorite band is Tool (which right now it so is), sometimes it's the postal service, and sometimes I'm in the mood to dance so I put on some madonna or old school 80's fun stuff. and of course I listen to some rap (but only what's hot at the moment).

Movies:

my all time favorite movies are Grease, empire records, dazed and confused, ace ventura, dumb and dumber, legally blonde, clueless and love stinks which I can watch all of these over and over and over again.

Television:

the shows that I must watch are Grey's anatomy, scrubs, Lost, the office, how I met your mother, mind of mencia, heroes, everybody hates chris, CSI: miami and NY. I will still watch reba and according to jim (they were great shows). Tivo is the best invention ever!!

Books:

I finished reading "Bitter is the new black", and now am reading "A place to stand" by Jimmy Baca. a couple others that were great were "Wayne","Running with Scissors", "A child called it" and "the Glass Castle". I just can't name all the ones that I've read.

Heroes:

my heroes are.....seriously I really don't have any heroes. hopefully one day I can say that I do, but so far, I don't.

o.k. I forgot to write another stating that I found out with the 3 hour glucose test that so far I do not have gestational diabetes. so what is so very horrible is that I'm not doing much to tak...

buddy's broken
