Music Is My LifeThat's an understatement for DJ Dart. Music is his love, his blood, his passion and his calling. From a young age he's always an ear for music that others could not explain. Always pointing things in songs that people didn't hear or understand to begin with. At age 13, DJ Dart knew music was what he wanted to do with his life. In any category he could wrap his mind around. Let it be Hip-Hop, Rock N' Roll, Techno or Country. DJ Dart wanted to do it all. He first became a promoter while harnessing his production skills for The Game and The Black Wall Street Records. Working closely with artists Juice and Nu Jerzey Devil. He was then discovered by fellow Canadian artist Alias Donmillion who he helped spread his name after his debut album "Music Money". He was later adopted into Alias's brotherhood also known as Donmillion Ent. Working with these artists gained DJ Dart much widespread success, both locally and internationally. Late in 2006 DJ Dart stumbled upon a upcoming artist Sean Kingston who he had many talks with before agreeing to help promote him in Canada while his album was being recorded. With all this experience DJ Dart attracted alot of underground artists for his promotion, but he's been known to be very picky, turning down nearly everyone in his home city, not out of disrespect but out of sheer work ethic. DJ Dart has taken few artists under his wing. Nincina, a young female Pop/RNB singer from California. Yo-Be, a quick tongued rapper from New York, A.P. a close friend from Boston who is destined to be the next Eminem, and his own personal mentor, Timsta from Chicago. In 2008 big name success came in the form of a Konvict. Up and coming rapper Qwes, recently signed to Akon's Konvict Muzik label, agreed to do a track with DJ Dart. The result. And underground party hit called We Got Em. DJ Dart and Qwes retain a good relationship. Planning to do more work together int he future. Later on in the year, DJ Dart got clearance and agreence to begin promoting one of his idols Layzie Bone from Bone Thugs-N-Harmony. Canada has never seen a talent like DJ Dart. He's young and ready to fight for his place in Hip-Hop and music in general. He's helping put Canada on the map for Hip-Hop and is ready to do whatever it takes. Stay tuned. This is only the beginning.
