I work customer service for a company in Napa, Ca, and am also a combat medic stationed out of San Mateo. I am lucky enough to have a few awesome friends here to enjoy my life with, and am an auntie to 2 wonderful kids. I love going out to San Francisco. The city is gorgeous, I am always catching a Giants game, and I am even getting a little into the club scene. I try to get home as often as I can, I was raised in 29 Palms, CA, and my family lives in Yucca Valley. I am extremely close with my family, they are the most important part of my life. Nothing is better that the people you love. It is also looking like I may be getting deployed to Iraq again in June, but we will see. If there is one thing I have learned in my 4+ years in the service, it's that things are always changing, and we have to stay flexible. I was over there the first time in '05 and '06, serving as a combat medic and nurse. I enjoy my job and everything I was able to accomplish while I was deployed, it really makes you see what you are capable of doing, and the personal strength you have. I have to tell you, being over there, so far away from my family and loved ones was definitely a hardship on all ends. For those out there who feel the need to sit on their asses here in the comfort and safety of our country, while there are people dying for your freedoms, and all you can do is bad mouth us, well, you know where you can go.
