I love sports, either in person or kicking back in a bar. Football (Niners), Baseball (Giants), Basketball (Lakers)...I am even getting into hockey, so I guess I would have to go for the local team, the Sharks. I love going to wineries in Napa, where I work...some would say I am a little guy crazy (I have no idea where they got that from!)...I am currently learning how to bake/cook, and it has been interesting so far. So sorry to anyone who had to suffer through my first batch of cookies! My friend Kelly and I are starting to knit and go on 'powerwalks', I swear it's like we are 2 little old ladies! I am trying to get somewhat "domesticated" so I have some sort of clue of how to run a household whenever that time comes. I love spending the whole day at the beach and hiking in the city...reading pediatric nursing books. I love kids and had a blast working with kids when I was in Iraq. Being over there really made me realize what I would love to do. My nephew Xander, he is the coolest kid. I could spend all day walking him from window to window and baby talk with him, it's adorable! What's even better was watching him see his baby sister, Makayla for the first time in the beginning of October. It is so awesome to watch her personality form and change every day.
I'm just looking around, seeing what is out there. I have met a lot of old friends, which has been great.

Little bit of everything. Just depends on what kind of mood I am in...a f*** you mood definitely calls for some Alanis, but I can also go for some late 80's-early 90's tunes with Kel...good times!
I am big on the 'chick flicks' and action movies. Love Indiana Jones, Gone With the Wind, Pride and Prejudice, pretty much anything with Jim Carrey or Drew Barrymore in it, Rudy (one of my all-time favs) and American Tale (makes me cry everytime), Full Metal Jacket, Officer and a Gentleman, Top Gun, 40 Year Old Virgin, Annie, and Little Mermaid, just to name a few.
Friends, Sex and the City, SportsCenter, Monday Night Football, Grey's Anatomy ( I love my McDreamy and Mc Steamy), Desperate Housewives, and more often that not, I am watching Sesame Street and getting those wonderful songs stuck in my head!
Currently reading Fundamentals of Nursing, and Pediatric Nursing Made Easy and Flags of our Fathers. Gift of Valor and Love my Rifle More Than You were also pretty good. Dating Sucks was pretty damn hilarious...and true!
Anyone who has served, past or present. I think what we do is pretty difficult on all involved, and should be appreciated. My mom is definitely a hero for me, she was raising 3 children while my father was deployed multiple times. My father was in the Marine Corps for 23 years, and retired as a First Sergeant. Ooh-rah Daddy! Both of my grandpas were in the service, Army and Marine Corps, and served in Korea.
