Hey I'm Marson. I live in Lenoir and play guitar and write music with some lifelong friends. I work at Harrisburg Music & Trading Co. in Hickory where I sell guitars, guns,& gold and set up instruments. I live in a hundred year old house on Harper Avenue which I share with my escape artist dog, Maya. I enjoy activities on the water and camping, hiking, and all that other granola type stuff. I wear flip flops year round unless I'm in the woods or working out. I can be pretty goofy and I'm very sarcastic. I'm a border line cynic. I like to cut up and party and I can have a good time anywhere and with pretty much anyone. Traveling is my passion- from road trips to voyages across the planet. I've been in 30 states and 10 countries. I've logged over 20,000 miles worth of vacation driving on my car. I love living and try to live every day as if it were my last. There is no such thing as wasted time. I work with a non profit organization called Life In Limbo Foundation. We provide financial and moral support to organ transplant recipients and their families. I was recently elected charter president and state director of the Caldwell Jaycees. We are part of the NC and US Junior Chambers of Commerce and the largest youth leadership organization in the world. My Interests

I play guitar and write music. I love traveling and would like to incorporate that in a career someday. I've been to Amsterdam, Rome, Monte Carlo and all over Europe. I drove to North Dakota and busted a right and kept on going till I was in Calgary, Alberta Canada. I have two dogs- Maya and Rocko. I love the mountains and the desert. I dig NFL football, politics, frisbee, pool, scotch, and the occasional use of four letter words. I enjoy tacos and beer and loose women.

To be honest, I started this page to meet girls. I've met some cool people, and some not so cool people. Hey- thats what you get with the whole online thing! There is no genre of music that I dislike...except maybe Scottish wailing. My favorite bands are the Allman Bros, Grateful Dead, Poets of Rhythm, Tool, Pearl Jam,Beastie Boys, Steely Dan, Alice in Chains, Fugazi, Jimmy Buffet, Presidents of the United States of America, Master P, Snoop and friends, Deftones, A Perfect Circle, The Beatles, Frank Sinatra, The Gap Band, Marvin Gaye, Joe Satriani, Elton John, Phish, Second Phase of the Sun, Pink Floyd, the list goes on and on....

My favorite author is Pat Conroy followed closely by Dan Brown and Hunter S Thompson. I'm just a sucker for a good story. I have read every single freakin Hardy Boys. I read all the Narnia books a couple months back. I just sat down and read them cover to cover in about 2 weeks. I have a special love for Jonathan Livingston Seagull which I read a couple times a year or so- it takes about an hour. EVERYBODY ON EARTH SHOULD READ THAT BOOK!
