Pulp

About Me

Formed in Sheffield, England, by a then 15-year-old Jarvis Cocker in 1978, Britpop band Pulp shot to fame in the 1990s with albums His 'N' Hers and Different Class, and the hit single Common People (no.2 UK charts, 1995). Since then, the happy-go-lucky disco/pop/rock feel of many of Pulp's songs has turned into a mellower sound, with the comings of age, and yet Pulp are still setting an incredible standard for which today's Britpop bands are struggling to conquer. Pulp are currently on hiatus, not sure whether they will release another album. Unfortunately, it seems as if they most probably sealed the end of the group with the release of Pulp Hits. Frontman Jarvis Cocker has officially released his new album, the self-titled Jarvis, with Rough Trade Records.

I hope you enjoy their music just as much, if not more, than I do.

This Myspace is maintained by: www.myspace.com/glassofwarmmilky/ Sorry, I know all the songs have been deleted! I can only upload tunes from their albums, so I need to convert the m4a files into mp3. In other words...new tracks coming soon! In no way affiliated with Pulp. Just a fan, like you!
