I am here for Friends

About Me

I grew up on a large cattle ranch in Washington State. My two brothers, Dad, myself and four full time cowboys, handled the livestock and other outside chores. My two sisters and mom maintained the main ranch house , and bunkhouse. I could never get my sisters outside long enough to get them hooked on the "Cowboy Way of Life".My dad would wake me about 4 am and we would go down to the bunkhouse. The cowboys would allready have coffee on, and the bunkhouse cook have a quick breakfast prepaired. We would all eat and talk about things that needed immediate attention. Slipping into the saddle I would soon find myself either herding cattle,or riding fence lines before the herd arrived in their new grazing area. Yes, I had to go to school, and do homework; but also had chores to get done, and in bed by 10 pm. I am 100% Tomboy, with the help of my father had rebuilt my first engine by the time I was seven. I took metal shop, and woodshop in high school; instead of Home Ec. I learned how to Arc Weld, and use a Ox/Acetelene torch... .. before I learned the art of baking cookies! Most the time I spent in the family kitchen, was to collect goodies for my friends in the bunkhouse. ............... I currently work in the Cruise ship and Commercial Maritime industry....I travel to any place a cruise ship can pull into. The company I work for provides technical, and legal services. They are to insure the safety and well being of passengers and crew. I will be traveling this year over 300 days of the year. Over a third of my year will be spent in flight somewhere around the world............. ............There are times where The hardest part is just trying to get enough sleep, I go through so many time zones my body has no idea what time it should be or not be sleeping or working.
