About Me

Life is very busy and stressful these days but I feel so fortunate to have an amazing job and life here in Brooklyn. I teach ninth grade history at the High School for Service Learning in Flatbush Brooklyn. Every single day I learn something about myself and life from my students. I find it amazing that young people can teach so much as they themselves are absorbing life. I often feel claustrophobic in the city as I am a country girl at heart, but I have a few years here til I have to make that big decision. One more year of grad school left. No plans to be an anthropologist, but it has been a fascinating few years of study. Overall..."Life is good."
