Ugnayan ng Kabataang Pilipino sa Canada/Filipino-Canadian Youth Alliance-Ontario would like to invite you to Pinoy Poetiks. Pinoy Poetiks provides a stage for youth to express themselves through spoken word poetry and music. The purpose of Pinoy Poetiks is to empower the youth and organize them around the issues of the community! Join us in this celebration of culture and resistance!
Minimum donation $5 and all ages. Proceeds to this session of Pinoy Poetiks will go to offset some of the costs of the Balik Ugat, Balik Komunidad Workshop Series and the upcoming Research Conference.
DIRECTIONS: The closest Subway Stop is Museum. Walk south from the Museum stop on west side of Unversity Ave, cross Hoskin Ave and continue south on Queen's Park Circle about 30m. Take the pathway leading to the right into the campus. Go down the steps and you are right in front of Hart House. The accessible entrance is located on the west side of the building south of Hoskin Ave.
