About Me

Well as many of you know, my name is Pritesh... I'm currently a second year at the University of California, Santa Barbara. I'm a Religious Studies and Political Science double major with a minor in Queer Studies. I also am on the Hindi Film Dance team here on campus (im also one of the managers of the team) and I'm a part of the INDUS cabinate. I work at the Resource Center For Sexual and Gender Diversity on campus which is like my current dream job. I'm really nice and friendly so if you wanna drop me a message and say hello, i highly encourage it but dont request me as a friend if you dont plan on speaking to me. I care about people and i think i'll always be happy with life. I have strong feelings about enjoying life and not worrying about your shortcomings. I love life, i love my family and i love my friends!

My Interests

I love a lot of things. I like hanging out with my friends, going to the beach (since i live on one), SHOPPING, partying (#2 party school in the nation!), drinking (im not an alchy though!), going online, myspacing, napping is probably the number one thing i like to do, dancing... basically anything that i can do that will keep me from doing my reading.

Music:

I like a lil bit of everything. Rock, Rap, Hip-hop, PoP and all that good stuff. And as fobby as it my sound, I even listen to massive amounts of indian music (see! im not as white washed as they all claim!!!)

Movies:

I like a lot of movies. I LOVE scary movies and comedies...oh yeah and INDIAN MOVIES! I dont really have a well thought out list of favorites but some that are sticking out in my mind are: BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN, V FOR VENDETTA, Finding Nemo, Final Destination, Kal Ho Na Ho, Veer Zaara, The Lion King, Fried Green Tomatoes and many many more

Television:

The Simpsons, Family Guy, American Idol, Project Runway, Road Rules-Real World challenge, America's Next Top Model, Nip/Tuck

Books:

I dont know if its like this in other universities.... but we read so much that its impossible to ever finish. So i dont have time to do reading for pleasure... and when school is not in session... i dont even want to look at a book.
