Elevody

Controlling volts without hesitation

About Me

Elevody is Adam Kallio. Adam has surrounded himself with music for much of his life. Picking up the violin at age eight, and later becoming proficient at guitar, bass, piano, synthesizers and sound engineering. An indie kid at heart, he found his palette of choice in electronic music. Here was the medium to combine all things and styles. Limited only by your own imagination."I remember being at my first rave, and thinking 'Where are the musicians? Where's the music coming from?'. Are aliens writing this? I thought about how by removing 'identity' from immediate focus, it allowed the listener greater freedom to hear without pretext."Adam creates music from a vast array of sounds and instruments. A flexible songwriter, he is at home composing adagios, pop music or throbbing dance beats. Computers, zippers, mailboxes, Adam is ever in search of ways to harness the sounds around us to utilize in his pieces. When playing live, he draws from this vast library of sound and music to in effect, "DJ" his own material. His ability to cater his performances to specific venues has allowed him to be heard at art galleries and performance art shows in addition to dance clubs. He has performed live countless times, and with some of Portland's best.Adam is an accomplished producer of other artists as well. His keen ear and attention to detail have led him to act as producer/engineer on nine albums to date. The first Elevody album will hopefully be released later this year. ____________________________________________________________ ______________ fantasy layout @ http://www.freeuniquelayouts.com/ - Movie Layouts - Music Layouts - More MySpace Layouts! - MySpace Tools
