Monkey Knife Fight Promotions was set up by a couple of frustrated musicians after getting repeatedly messed around by promoters.As a band - and we'd be foolish not to mention the name of the band here in the interests of promotion, so here it is: MANICHAE - we've often organised our own gigs, finding venues and line-ups to provide a vehicle for getting our music heard in the local area.We think that we've done a pretty good job of doing this and we enjoy putting on gigs with bands we like playing with, as well as finding new acts to gig with.So, we thought "Why not take it one step further and give ourselves a name to make it a bit more official and continue to put gigs on in the local area?"So, we did!It's early days yet and we've only organised a handful of gigs so far under our new name (to be fair, we didn't really have a name before, we were just members of a band - MANICHAE (have we mentioned that already?) - who promoted their own gigs that they had organised).Anyway - if you're a band or artist that would like to work with us - please give us a shout and we'll see what we can do.
