If you like it, it probably sucks, and I probably don't listen to it. Bands that kick ass: Botch, Between the Buried and Me, ISIS, - They kick so much ass it isn't even cool (the one band I'll bow down to). The Albumn Leaf, Sigur Ros, Tristeza, Dillinger Escape Plan, Autechre, Antipop Consortium, The Anticon crew...especially Sole, Aphex Twin, Blonde Redhead, Explosions in the Sky, Mogwai, Talk Talk, Amon Tobin, Madvillian, Engine Down, Denali, Mos Def, Jet Black Crayon, Leo Kotke, Buck 65, Hella, Iron & Wine, James Brown, Mewithoutyou, Radiohead, REM, Neurosis, Portishead, God Speed you Black Emperor!, A Silver Mount Zion,....man, what a list, all those artists kick so much ass, there is so much more, but this is all thats comin to me for now. If you think there is an artist worthy enough for this list let me know, and I'll think about it.
