Biography :
Simply stated, I grew up in church. My dad became the Hispanic pastor of this great big church in Hawthorne, CA when I was twelve and I remember my dad preaching Sundays when the only members were my mom, my little brother and myself. We really struggled that year but the Lord never left us nor did he forsake us. The church started growing.
Within those years I began singing at church. With my dad on the guitar and my nine year old brother on the drums we began worshiping and having so much fun along the way.
Through the years that followed and all the Crystal Lewis accompaniment tracks you can imagine the Lord placed two wonderful people in my life. Alfredo and Charlie. They believed in my musical talent and calling so much that they invested in a project we originally entitled “Recuerdos de mi padreâ€. An album I dedicated to the great memories of hymn singing at church with my father and included various classic songs.
At the time my vision was still unclear and my apprentice confidence was low. Between college and following my God given calling my faith began to suffer. Guess what? The Lord still never left me nor did he forsake me.
In the midst of all my crazy soul searching efforts the Lord Kept placing amazing people in my life that motivated, encouraged and kept reminding me of how much Jesus Loves you.
So here I am. Several years later and with much more learning to go motivating YOU to trust in the Lord-our strong tower and fight the good fight but most importantly if you find yourself away from him be confident of this, he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. Philippians 1:6
