Woody's in Köln Germany!

I am here for Dating and Friends

About Me

Hey Everyone.
I'm Woody
I've been given an excellent opportunity to train in germany for 3 months at my new job. I'm quite excited and am trying to learn German, eat German foods, and sample German style Beers.
I just graduated from College and am now an Engineer working in the automotive industry on Diesel Engines
I used to lifeguard, and I like to stay active. I enjoy going for walks and swimming.

I'm a bit shy, but am quite warm around friends. I like trying new adventures, usually small ones like driving a different road or trying indian food.
I'm Left Handed, how cool is that?
AOL AIM---- Allamericansherm
Yahoo: ignacio83I love camping and outdoors
I used to camp alot growing up. I enjoyed it quite a bit, and did it quite often (thanks for reminding me Tiffany). I like being outside and enjoy nature. Fall is my favorite season, for its crisp mornings and warm afternoons. Used to hike quite a bit and I'll tell you there is nothing better than hiking in the fall and seeing all the trees. I remeber many a time standing on a hill, just looking down into the colors. I really like birch trees. We went to a camp in 5th grade....Echo Grove, and Fish Lake in 6th. Ever Been there?
I really liked those crisp morings. I remember 1 time I hiked to the edge of Cowpens Hill and just watch the sunrise. Watching the morning purples and scarlets become increasingly brilliant untill the sun breaks the horizion....
Its just one of those experiences I wish I could share with everyone.

Ever do High Adventure? Kimmy reminded me that I used to do high adventure and simulated rock climbing growing up...thank's kimmy!!! I used to repell off a 45 ft tower and belay for others. High adventure was great, especially the rip cord. Soaring 60 ft in the air rocks....are u scared of heights?

Swimming with the sharks

Wow, my little sister just reminded me about the time we swam with sharks. The water was really cold and salty. But the sharks were there, and really cool looking. Wow, some of theme were about 10-15 ft long. It was scary, but fun :)

I used to lifeguard, and I like swimming, but I don't do it too much anymore :(

I have an appreciation for art. Surreal Art specifically, because it provokes thought. I like the artwork of Strom Thorgood [Pink Floyd, and more reciently Audioslave's first album cover art & Offspring's Splinter album]

I also like the art of Roger Dean, who did the cover art for ASIA

In General
i like anyone who is from a different country with an interesting culture. I like meeting people different than the ones around my midwestern home.

I'dlike to meet international or exhange students. Last year I met a group of Swedish Exchange students and showed them all around Detroit. It was great, and I really enjoyed their company and learning their culture.

How to make a woody
Ingredients:
1 part intelligence
1 part courage
3 parts leadership
Method:
Stir together in a glass tumbler with a salted rim. Add a little cocktail umbrella and a dash of curiosity

KID ROCK!! Just got the new live CD, "Live Trucker" Awesome!

The Thrills, Rick Menck, Dirk Powell, and some ZZ top

I saw ZZ top at the State Fair. It was fun. Those Green Suits and long beards, lol. Great music of course. Went with my best friend :)

Dirk Powell is just a blast to listen too. It sounds like 3 dudes sitting on their front porch on a sunny day in Georgia, just strumming away and having a blast. Its a relaxed, impromptu, easy going kinda sound. I highly reccomend it

Audioslave!
Did you know that the album cover art is done by the same guy who did Pink Floyd art?

I love their first album....its great....love that hard guitar.

VAN HALEN!!!

GUNS AND ROSES!!!!!
AC/DC: The Black Album= hells bells = "have a drink on me"!

Led Zepplin: The Ocean is great!!...love "How the West was Won", great album! listen to it all the time

Pink Floyd: Dogs off the album Animals is a great song. I listen to "Wish you were here" every night to fall asleep! Shine on!!

I love Aerosmith, but their last 2 albums stink. I liked Big Ones and Nine Lives. I like old skool aero as well. I really liked that Eminem Remix of the Sweet Emotion Beat....

The Who: I'm not really a fan of the group but I like these songs "baba o'riley", "won't be fooled again" and "behind blue eyes". I really like the elecrtic keyboards and the hard bass track.

used to listen to 106.7 The Drive during the day/driving around..........BUT they got rid of it :(So now i listen to wiot out of toledo. its like the wrif, but has twice as much 80's rockwww.wiot.com

Like Green Day, big fan of JET, and The Offspring.................... Like Our Lady Peace and their live album. I keep hearing it on launchcast and love it. Their New studio album is great.

Like Eminem-shady aftermath rap........

I think Encore sux though compared to the Eminem Show. The Eminem Show has much more depth than this album....

Like to dance to rap or techno. I sometimes listen to digitallyimported.com ......................

I've been to an industrial club downtown a few times. I forgot what its called though. I usually go in a big group of friends and we all have a great time. I'm not a goth person, but I like the music.

My friend Dave Cagle aka industrial cowboy dave frequents that club often and is know by many. He played some KMFDM and I instantly liked it. I'm open to any suggestions on other industrial music artists.

Love to dance at clubs and parties, pretty good at moving, but cant do floor moves yet. I want to learn to break dance!

Television:

LostThis show is amazing. The writing is great. You never know what's gonna happen next!

Books:

I have read John Stossil's Book "Myths, Lies and Downright Stupidity"I am now reading "Personality Plus" by Florence Littauer. Its an analysis of People, 4 basic personality types, and how to best work with people in Business. The theory is, by understanding which type of personality a person has, you understand how they will react to change and why they react like they do. It takes the mystery out of why some people are natural leaders and others get excited over anything.
