About Me

Mezzo-Soprano, Denise Dimsdale, is a native of Atlanta, Georgia. Her professional accomplishments include the roles of Dorabella in Cosi Fan Tutte, Hansel in Hansel and Gretel, Mother Teresa in The Proposal and Erika in Vanessa. As a principal soloist, Ms. Dimsdale has performed in J.S. Bach's Christmas Oratorio, Vivaldi's Gloria, Faure's Requiem, and Mendelssohn's Elijah. Ms. Dimsdale has recently performed with Atlanta Opera, Capitol City Opera, and Chamber Music Atlanta. She has performed in venues such as The Woodruff Arts Center, The Rialto Center for the Performing Arts, Callanwolde Fine Arts Center, and Spivey Hall. Ms. Dimsdale's discography includes "What If...A Collection of American Art Songs" created in collaboration with pianist, Sandra Lutters.
