Estelle - "American Boy" ft. Kanye West
..Born and raised in northern VA, I am a concoction of Scotch-Irish and Paraguayan. I love art, music, psychology, and traveling. My boyfriend has a great impact on my life and carries my heart. It has certainly been a roller coaster of a ride for me thus far. It's funny how when we are young we just want to grow up to fast and sometimes run slam into a brick wall not realizing how rapidly adulthood hits us. It's not playing with cabbage patch dolls and it's not watching mom bake a cake and licking the frosting out of the can. It's real, sometimes scary and not always so much fun. My son was recently diagnosed with autism at the age of four. It affects 1 in 150 children in this modern day. It's a complex conditon and I am still learning but I know that I am blessed for I have never felt love like this for another human being before. I will be there for him always as I have been in these challenging past four years. I sometimes wonder why this task was given to someone like myself but I think that I need this to be a stronger person.
