I am here for Friends

About Me

I grew up in the country on a small Dairy Farm in Wisconsin. I am a very gentle hearted person and am the type who will drop any and everything i am doing if my family or friends need something. I have 2 brothers, both older. My parents divorced when I was 16. My Mom re-married about 2 years later and my Dad remarried in 2006. Even though it was really hard to see them split I am very beleive it was for the best and I get along great with my Stepdad and step mom. After high school I took a month off before Enlisting in the US Air Force. I left for basic training on July 1st 2002. I spent 6 weeks at basic training and then attended the Security Forces Academy for 13 weeks. My first duty station was Malmstrom AFB in Great Falls, MT. I had a lot of fun there and met a lot of great people. After a year and 9 months there i left for Incirlik Air Base, Turkey where i spent the next 15 months, before I came to Patrick AFB, FL. I spent a year at Patrick before I volunteered to deploy. In March of this year I left for Ali Al Salem, Air Base, Kuwait. It was a great experience and I would go back in a heartbeat. I returned in September and spent some nice R&R time at home. I was honorably discharged from the Air Force Nov 1 2007. It really hasnt hit me yet but I am really going to miss the people. I spent 5 1/2 years in the AF where I met and learned from some very amazing people. The things I learned, experiences ive had and the people I've met i wouldnt trade for anything. Now that I'm out I plan on relaxing and spending quality time with my friends and family. I haven't been home for Thanksgiving or xmas in 5 years and I am really looking forward to it. I was going to stay in Florida but have changed my mind and will be settling back in Wisconsin. You never really know how much you miss something until you are away from it for a long time...
