Mobile Dogwash

About Me

The Mobile Dogwash sound has been heavily influenced by the London acid techno scene created by producers such as DAVE the Drummer, The Liberators, Ant & Geezer. It's bass heavy, pounding, hands-in-the-air groovy techno, which has rocked dance floors across the country from Species in Bristol, Tribe of Munt in London, to Riff Raff in Leeds. The duo also became residents at legendary night, Headcharge, along the way.Iain "Muntatronic" worked by himself developing his engineering skills for a while, setting up Bok! studios in Stag Works, home to many other musicians & studios, with local percussionmeister "bongo" Bert Rogers & prolific ghettotechjacker Ed209, before teaming up with Ron in 2000, who he knew from his inspiring headmelting DJ sets in Headcharge and the local free party scene. After their first release in 2003 on Acid Test with a remix by The Pranksterz, they launched their own label, Chase Yer Tail, in 2004 with a remix provided by their main influence and superstar Dave the Drummer. 2005 saw a release on one of the UK's longest running techno labels, Cluster, and on one of its sister labels, Stay Up Forever Remix. For a couple of years now they've been working with Mik Cree to develop the full on sound of UK acid techno, resulting in another release on the Pranksterz' label Acid Test and on Cyber Steve's label, Snap'n'Crackle.Their finest moment on vinyl to date has been featuring on the world's foremost acid techno label, Stay Up Forever (89).Keep your eyes open for future gigs as they'll rock your ass!
