Dissolution began in early 2006 when two varsity buddies who had the same tastes in music(Mainly a huge love for Metallica) Decided to have a few jamming sessions. They worked on a few Metallica songs and with Greg having a few ideas and riffs left over from his previous band,Beloved Angel of Cancer, they started to work on some original material. At this point in time there was Just Darren and Greg working under no name. we then appointed Sash as band manager(she also manages a band called frequency) and things started to pick up. A name was chosen and Sash organised us a my space profile and future gigs for when we are ready. We put out ads for a drummer and a vocalist and found our drummer in the form of Jonathan Peel. After a brief audition due to the town council thinking we suck and cutting off our power he was in. We worked on songs with Johathan and soon things were progressing. At the end of 2006 we are informed that darren would be moving to Cape town in January. So we Pushed hard and we wre able to get a gig the day before Darren's flight left. With darren Gone Jonathan and Greg saw no reason not to carry on. So after a a bit of a break they started jamming again, This time with Gavin on Vocals. New songs are coming thick and fast and we are hoping to be gigging real soon. All thats needed is a bass player so If anyone is keen let us know.
