I'm 23 years young I currently live with my 2 cousins in a bachelor pad. I have a steady job that I have been at for almost 7 years, but I am a certified fireman and I am intent on getting on the chicago fire dept. I recently took test for the chicago fire dept. along with 30,000+ other people, but I'm in a good position and should hopefully hear back from them soon. Bars and Clubs are always fun, but not a necessity in my life. I seek a adventuris fun life and try to stay away from the ordinary but find my self sucked into a daily rutine that doesn't suit the real me.I like to dable in poetry and philosophy with more of a real world feel that can relate to my life! Here's a few I've written. ___________________________________________________________ NEVER ENDING FIREYoure a light theres no switch to turn off No bulb to bash against the floor A light as strong as fire, and me with no water just bare. And the only way to put you out is to wait, wait for the lumbar to turn to ash. Im sick of waiting, no ash, just still a burning fire I cant ignore I still feel, I still feel for you. Theres been fires before I could usually piss to nothing, and watch sizzle away along with the memories, But this heat is never ending. So all I can do is try and ignore and survive, But there will always be that never ending fire.For my Hermosa! ___________________________________________________________W ould the world think your crazy If they saw what you do alone? Staring in the mirror, using your flashlight as a microphone. God if you danced like that in public you'd be thrown righ out, but when you do it alone You have no doubt. No fear, no worry, no judge, no jury. Just you being you and to the world that unacceptable. But when you find someone you can be yourself with Someone who won't complain. Then you found a true friend who probably does the same
