I like Rock, and most other forms of music excluding boring jazz (ie weather report, ect.) and Bollywood musical showtunes which are just way too fucking cheerful. In fact, as a rule of thumb, showtunes suck (again there are some notable exceptions). I like going to thrift stores and making my own furniture. I've been known to bang the drum, am somewhat of a LOTR enthusiast, and secretly enjoy eavesdropping on conversations in sleazy hotel bars.

I still think that I like to listen to "good music", but honestly, all I listen to here is Lionel Richie, the Backstreet Boys and Vietnamese pop music. I've even come to embrace this one Lionel Richie song. "Hello, is it me your looking for. . .I can see it in your eyes, I can see it in your smile. You all I've ever wanted and I'm da da dum de dum." It plays all the time over here, and besides, it's like totally fuckin' intense. Also I listen to a lot of bad Karaoke. At home I guess I like to listen to sonic youth and Kris Kristofferson and neil young and I've suddenly started liking the ramones.
I like them.
Twin Peaks. Mr. Show. the office (BBC version)BUFFY SUCKS. (and that goes for all the cheesy spinoffs too)
I love the Lord of the Rings. That will never change. Recently, I've been reading an eclectic bunch of books. Basically, I've been reading what we've got laying around the house. Dispatches by Micheal Herr, a history of the Mekong river (titled Mekong), The Quiet American by Graham Greene, Angela's Ashes, Bee Season, Hell's Angels, Dharma Bums, The Sorrow of War by Bao Ninh, other books. Next I will read The Kite Runner.I still remember where I was sitting when I finished the Brother's Karamozov.
