I'm a geek, first and foremost; anything that has to do with computers I'm into -- be it just toolin' around w/ the hardware or my latest obsession with some new software. I like to think I'm a cool level-headed fellow, but I love to argue and press buttons of people I know well. A bit too logical for my own good, and more prudent than I'd like to be. I seem shy to new people, but that is mainly because I prefer to listen and observe instead of exercise my jaw. I do tend to write a lot though, it comes a little too easily to me.
I love riding my Motorcycle, it makes everyday travel something to look forward to. But it's most fun on the highways and back roads in & around Sacramento, especially near the river on those country highways that dip and swerve like a roller coaster. Need to get down to the bay area more often on it, the tank only lets me go about 100 miles before filling up again but mainly it's the weather that keeps me from going that far, that and my obsession with my computer.
In case anybody wonders; I am a mutt of the world. I'm Portuguese, Black (don't go with that whole African American thang, see Smokey Robinson's poem about it, explains exactly how I feel), Native American, Irish, Indian, German and probably a couple more things, my family's never cared about race for generations, and neither do I. It's the person, not what they look like or where they come from, that matters.
