..I thank god I was raised catholic, so sex will always be dirty..

About Me

I'm me.
I'm not perfect but my friends love me anyway.
I'm harder on myself than anyone else is.
I'm grateful for my friends
I'm loyal as hell.
I'd take a bullet any day for a loved one.
I'm working on being a better listener.

I'm a Gemini. That will tell you a lot.

I love to laugh
I sometimes cry
I have an utterly un-p.c. sense of humor.
I love the outdoors
I also love big cities
I have sneezing fits after eating
Jumping on the bed is highly underrated. 'specially in hotels.
favorite shoes: guess stilettos w/ankle straps. practical for work? nope.
I'm practicing quieting my mind
being girly is fun
being one of the boys is what I do, too.
I like to have fun
I enjoy just hanging out.
I'm not afraid of hard work.

Music is my life
I work quite a bit, but my work does not define who I am.
I have recently discovered i love rugby.
I love mexican food. and indian. and japanese. I just love food.
Honesty is bottom line. I am never afraid of 100% honesty. try me.
I'm shyer than you think I am.
Actions speak louder than words
The only thing to fear is fear itself.
I like giving gifts
I bake yummy pumpkin bread & those little cakes that ooze chocolate.
Someday soon I will be in one place. With a life. I can't wait.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

"Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind."-- Dr. Seuss

if I know you, and I know your band, please message me and I will add you! otherwise, sorry, I'm sure your band is great and all, but I'd like to hear you on my own first...

Music:

Quicksand - Fazer
my favorite live band. ever.

Movies:

Blade Runner, The Fifth Element, Sin City, The Incredibles, Monsters Inc, Alien, Close Encounters, The Jerk, Kill Bill 1 & 2 (well most Tarantino movies, actually), Rudy (yes, I'm a sap for that movie), Lord of the Rings Trilogy, - and speaking of Peter Jackson, who can forget Dead Alive?!! Star Wars (Empire Strikes Back is my fave), The Breakfast Club, Diva, Blue Velvet, Scarface, Cohen Brothers films, South Park, Pretty much anything with David Spade in it (yay Joe Dirt!), Planes, Trains & Automobiles, old musicals, 30's & 40's Film Noir, Spinal Tap, Waiting for Guffman, Best in Show, A Mighty Wind. Borat. 300. Talladega Nights
Inland Empire (see it at least twice) and The Last King of Scotland. See them. Actually, see The Last King of Scotland twice, also. Forrest Whittaker is truly amazing as Idi Amin.
Just saw "Knocked Up." Funny as shit from beginning to end. You know a movie is great when you're practically on the floor laughing the whole way through, while the old couple next to you leaves the movie in disgust half way through.

Television:

...I could not believe I'd like the US version of "The Office" as much as the BBC version, but I'm hooked! South Park and The Family Guy are awesome. In fact, I now own all the Family Guy DVDs and am completely obsessed with watching them. I AM going to win at that Family Guy trivia game someday (..uh huh.) I watch a lot of The Discovery Channel, and I'll admit it - I am addicted to Top Chef. And most everything on the Food Channel (except Rachel Ray, she drives me nuts.) And I love Little Britain. I've recently re-discovered my love for the Simpsons (my favorite episode is still the "Cape Fear" one)

I just watched "American Dad" for the first time. God, I love Seth McFarlane. The man is genius.

Books:

"The first thing I remember is being under something" - Charles Bukowski - Ham on Rye

"Many years later, as he faced the firing squad, Colonel Aureliano Buendia was to remember that distant afternoon when his father took him to discover ice" - Gabriel Garcia Marquez - One Hundred Years of Solitude

"The sky above the port was the color of television, tuned to a dead channel." - William Gibson - Neuromancer

"The human head is of the same approximate size and weight as a roaster chicken" - Mary Roach - Stiff

"inspiration generates inspiration. It gives of itself to whatever it touches" - Paramhansa Yogananda - Autobiography of a Yogi

Heroes:

theologue - Alex Grey
