hello, i am a singer/songwriter from antioch, ca. i started performing in 2003 when i was 17; playing at local bars and coffee shops on weekends and using all other spare time to write and record songs. most of the songs i have written are about heart break and loneliness. you know that feeling when you hear a really sad song, and afterwards you feel like shit, but at the same time its kind of bitter-sweet? hopefully all my songs will give you that or at least make you feel something
platypus, the name that i gave to my music, was inspired by a poem that i wrote in high school, that was basically just a metaphore for feeling like an outsider.
