About Me

I Love my boyfriend Skylar, and my pack of Dogs. In no particular order: Ida Lou, Kaffe (beanie), Tahini (hini), Etta Mae, and Bashful. What most people spend a month on rent, I spend on dog food, as Ida is a great dane, and Beanie and Hini are akita/mastifs. We live like Ma and Pa, from Little House on the Prarie. Which is a life long dream come true. I own a small business called 'The Green Joint', selling organic shaved ice. This will be my first summer in business! I volunteer most of my spare time to KMUD people powered radio. I work in the music library and act as guest dj on a new music program. I'm obsessed with music, and finding new bands/artists to fall in love with. And then I play them on the radio. That's really fun for me and makes me really happy. That's about all. Here's some random undisputed facts: I will fall asleep on the plane before it even takes off. I'm intensely loyal, and incredibly persistant. Late night baking brings me great satisfaction. I keep my nails trimmed very short. I hate waking up before 8:00 AM, my "crack spot" is Vivace, I love my hazelnut latte. I'm thoroughly disgusted by cigarette smoke, chewing tobacco, fast food, and the texture of newspaper. I have a staring problem. I like using "all natural/organic" products, like deoderant for example, so that I'm not rubbing aluminum in my armpits. My favorite color is purple, my favorite animal is an orangutan, and my favorite flower is lavendar. I like having things no one else has. I love hand-me-downs from both of my grandmothers. I enjoy walking in unfamiliar places by myself. I have a unique allergic reaction to cinnamon rolls, I vomit upon consumption. I can drive better with my knees than most people can with their hands. English Breakfast tea with cream and sugar in the raw is like comfort in liquid form. I've mastered the art of loading the dishwasher, I'm not very good at hanging pictures on the wall or organizing my closet. I have my best friend Chelsea come help me with all that stuff. I have a major sweet tooth. I've been told that I'm a very unhealthy healthy eater. I like eating all organic foods and baking with all organic ingredients, the end result is so much tastier. I will seize an opportunity when it's presented. I love to collect strains. I have a shopping problem...there I admit it.

One day in Everett a long time ago

Back in 1989, our family owned a Taurus station wagon.  One day, the front wheel drive on the forward transmission went kaput.  My dad drove five miles home in reverse.  I was in the ba...

Sometimes, when I'm at a party I feel the need to have something in my hand. Now, most people have a drink in their hand, so they're all set. I don't drink, and begin to feel a little left out. So ...
