About Me

Born in Okinawa, Japan -- YMO was big when I was little --Moved to Santa Cruz, Bolivia, 1981. Culture shock -- Started playing KISS at 15, 16, then Michael Schenker --Moved to Tuscaloosa, AL, USA, 1985, and stayed with a nice family from Minnesota. Bigger culture shock -- Hair band days --Back to Bolivia, 1986 -- More hair --Moved to Peoria, IL, 1987 -- Bigger hair. Whitesnake was huge --Moved to Tokyo, 1989 -- Tokyo is full of everything, but didn't do much musically, too much other stuff to do --Moved to Savannah, GA, 1991 -- Started listening to jazz more. My father always listened to jazz when I was little, and I always liked it --Moved to ATL, 1993 -- Met a beautiful, intelligent, sweet woman, got married, got a baby, and THEN started gigging --Moved to Seagrove, FL, 2003 -- That was a failed experiment. Gigged a lot, though --Back to ATL, 2004 -- Here I am.

My Interests

Band Members: The songs on this page are demos. I'm playing everything on them. Live, I've had the pleasure to play with some great musicians.---Edward Wilson, Rick Merridith, Andy Anderson, and others on bass.---Danyelle Dyer, Kenny Parks, Bennie Harris, and others on drums.---Deidra Evans, Shanda Leigh McKnight, and others on keyboard.---I've also played for some great musicians, like Beau Hall, Oceana, X-Factor, Mr. Jones, the Blues in the Alley House band, and more.
Influences: KISS, Michael Schenker, Deep Purple, Miles Davis, Santana, T-Bone Walker, Stevie Ray Vaughan, John Scofield, Grant Green, James Brown, Billie Holiday, Steely Dan, Robben Ford, Scott Henderson, Andy Summers, Vital Information, etc. in somewhat of a chronological order
Sounds Like: That's for the listeners to decide. I could say I sound like Grant Green and Carlos Santana combined, but some people might think I sound like a combination of a leaf blower and a cocktail shaker.
Type of Label: Major
