Sweetbone was formed in 2001 by Martin Diaz and David Southwood-Smith (formerly of Earth Citizens) in order to inject some much-needed energy into the South Florida music scene. Scott Greenbaum joined the dynamic duo on drums, then David's brother Paul and his school friend Austin completed the Bone-Sound with the Horny Horns Section!!! Our purpose in life is basically to ROCK! We do not have any hang-ups, we love all types of music, and we play all types of music. Our originals contain deep lyrics (most of the time), great melodies, strong hooks, and we write them for our fans and ourselves. We also carefully select classic cover tunes so we can F*..K them up in our own style. We feel that mainstream rock has been taking itself way too seriously for too long and we are here to put good times and fun back into Rock music. Sweetbone has been known to play Bob Marley, Sublime, Kiss, Ozzy, Jimi, Doors...etc. All In The Same Set!!!
