Well I just moved back to New York and I have to say it feels good to be back. It may be dirty, it may be loud, and I may have to walk up 5 flights of stairs to my apartment, but I missed it.
I am an opera singer, which means I have a master's degree that is practically useless. Its a pretty cool life when you're getting paid to sing though, and when you have a moment on stage where you really lose yourself in the character its nothing short of life changing. That pretty much makes it all worth it.
My day job is as a personal trainer, and I really love doing it. Plus I get to get in shape for ultimate frisbee season which I can't wait for!!! There's just something about a flying plastic disc that I can't live without.
