About me ... About me ... Okay ... Umm ... I was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana, home of the Colts (2007 Super Bowl Winners! Woo-hoo!) I'm German, English, Polish, Irish, and I think there's a splash of somethin' else in there, but I can't put my finger on it at the moment. My interests are carving, exercising, collecting Disney and movie memorabilia, the beach, the mountains, hiking, tennis, bowling, pool, swimming, boating, road trips, train trips, camping ... I love the sounds of the ocean, woods, thunderstorms, a train far off in the distance late at night or in the wee hours of the morning, laughter ... But two of my biggest interests are acting and writing. I was heavily involved in theater back home in Indy. And I just finished a script I was working on for over 3 years ... And that is what has brought me out here to the Los Angeles area ... I have a dream, and I'm going to see it through:) ... Well, that's one dream ... I have another -- to find someone with whom I can share my life. I wear my heart on my sleave, which has led it to a broken state more than once. But that's something I just can't seem to change about myself. And I'm okay with that, because I believe I WILL find that someONE for ME:)...And as of July 27th, 2007, I HAVE found that someONE for ME:) Okay, I'm not very good at updating my profile here on myspace, so bear with me:) But I returned home to Indy towards the end of July and met a young man that has changed my life in so many ways ... He makes me laugh like no one else, he makes me smile like no one else ... And he helped me to find the courage to fall in love again ... Thank you, Brian:) I love you!...Been a while since I updated my myspace. Hell, my friends update my myspace more often than I do! (Thank you, Lauren!) But I felt I needed to add something. The year hasn't started off too smoothly ... Well, I DID get a great new job as Assistant Director of Alumni Relations at IUPUI, and that has been exciting ... But I am saddened by the loss of a loved one. My love, Brian. We have been through some major ups and downs ... And the downs seem to have outweighed the ups lately. So we have separated. I can't bring myself to change my relationship status at this time because it hurts too much. Time will tell and time will heal. I will always love Brian and always wish him love. I DO love you Brian:) *** Holy crud! Been quite some time since I've updated this! Well, I've obviously updated my relationship status. The early part of this year I was not in a good place. And I'm not going to go into the details, because "myspace" is a happy place:) Now, I am in a better place ... physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually ... I am a stronger person and a better person. I am blessed to have the friends below in my life and welcome so many more:)***OKAY, I MISS DATING! I REALLY, REALLY DO. I'M GOING TO DO SOMETHING REALLY CLICHE, PROBABLY A LITTLE STUPID, BUT TO HELL WITH IT:) I REALLY AM READY TO FIND A SPECIAL GUY. SOMEONE WHO TAKES CARE OF HIMSELF ON MANY LEVELS: EMOTIONALLY, MENTALLY, PHYSICALLY, SPRITIUALLY, FINANCIALLY ... SOMEONE WHO IS HAPPY WITH WHERE HE IS IN LIFE, BUT CONTINUES TO STRIVE TO IMPROVE HIS LIFE. SOMEONE WITH PRETTY WHITE TEETH, A GORGEOUS SMILE, AND CLEAN FINGER NAILS:) SOMEONE PREFERRABLY AROUND MY AGE OR A BIT OLDER. A GUY WHO IS CONTENT IN HIS CAREER, HAS HIS OWN PLACE AND KEEPS IT OH SO TIDY -- I'M A NEAT FREAK:) SOMEONE WHO IS A MAJOR MOVIE BUFF AND CAN TALK WITH ME FOR HOURS ABOUT FILMS. A GUY WHO LIKES DISNEY -- OR AT LEAST IS WILLING TO PUT UP WITH MY OBSESSION WITH DISNEY:) A GUY WHO REALLY ENJOYS WORKING OUT -- I WORK OUT 5 OR 6 DAYS A WEEK. SOMEONE WHO LOVES TO TRAVEL. SOMEONE WHO LOVES TO COOK. SOMEONE WHO'S HIGHLIGHTS OF EVERY DAY WILL BE WAKING UP TO MY FACE EVERY MORNING AND FALLING ASLEEP NEXT TO ME EVERY NIGHT. SOMEONE WHO LOVES THE SIMPSONS, WILL & GRACE, SURVIVOR, AMAZING RACE, FAMILY GUY, AND A GUY WHO LIKES TO PLAY BOARD GAMES WITH THEMES ASSOCIATES WITH THOSE SHOWS:) A GUY WHO WOULD BE THRILLED TO MAKE MANY NEW FRIENDS -- BECAUSE I'M BLESSED WITH SO MANY WONDERFUL FRIENDS! SOMEONE WHO IS HAPPY SPENDING A QUIET EVENING AT HOME WITH ARBY'S TAKE-OUT FOR DINNER, BUT IS ALSO JUST AS HAPPY WITH A NIGHT OUT ON THE TOWN WITH A GREAT GROUP OF FRIENDS.
