Available titles from Marcus Knight:Available title from Vinyl Pusher Records“I was in a friends car many years ago when he said have a listen to this!â€Now my appreciation for his taste in music wasn’t at an all time high as I was into R&B and he loved dance. As per usual, I listened and on came “My My My†by Armand Van Heldon. There has been few times when you feel like the coarse of your life may have altered in a split second, in hindsight that was definitely one. “What and who the f@k is this?†I enquiredAnd so I got a copy a listened to it over and over, obsessed with the bass line and atmosphere it seemed to keep generating after each listen.During the following weeks and months Knight would attend house clubs and record stores and so the journey began. Knight’s first house production was Ladi-Tash’s “Famousâ€, which went on to become the official WNBL Anthem of that year.Slowly picking up more and more house gigs, Knight realised his appetite for dance music had reached highs never experienced. Whilst still playing old school R&B sets, HOUSE music satisfied his creative impulses.Going on to sign to dance labels Vinyl Pusher and Essential Cutz has provided a platform to further generate his expressions.Playing in Melbourne, Perth & Brisbane has increased the urge to deliver more, starting with a remix due out shortly for Funkaman (Fredde Le Grand’s partner in crime) debut track “Speed Upâ€.
