About Me

I'm a filmmaker, fun-lover, and staff writer for Butt Magazine. My short film "Love and Deaf" screened at festivals worldwide in 2005, was released on DVD in North America, Germany, France, Austria, Belgium, and Switzerland, and premiered on Here! TV channel in North America and Pink TV channel in France, both in 2006. My current short film "Jinx!" is just starting it's festival tour and has been enthusiastically received, with an acquisitions deal in the works.For Butt Magazine, I've done interviews with John Cameron Mitchell, Mike Albo, Ed Droste (Grizzly Bear), and artist Francesco Vezzolli. Most of these articles and more are featured (along with a dreadful photo of me, that other people think is hot) in the BUTT Book, released in 2006.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

People who crack me up. Co-conspirators, not collaborators.I don't want to meet any of my idols because I'm always dissapointed or I make an ass of myself. I DO want to meet people who enjoy laying around the house and watching crappy movies like Mannequin or Vanna White's Goddess of Love, Just one of the Guys, Soul Man, and Ricki Lake's Babycakes. People who will laugh at my impression of Juliette Lewis in "The Other Sister, " and Halle Berry in "Monster's Ball." People who dream of one day working at Laurel-Ayres (the fictional company in Whoopi Goldberg's The Advocate) or Vesta-Rose (the female employment agency in She-Devil). People who don't mind ordering a Shirley Temple in a busy bar. Film geeks, book geeks, music geeks, chicken-head biting off geeks.
