About Me

I am a born-again Christian. I got involved in evangelism about four years ago through a friend. I have discovered that using the law (10 Commandments) is very effective in drawing people to Christ.I used to think I was a pretty good person. Once I took a look in the mirror of God's law that image was shattered. I discovered that His standards are much different than ours. Just telling one lie in my lifetime made me a liar. The Bible says, "all liars will have their part in the lake of fire." Stealing something as small as even a pencil or piece of candy made me a thief. The Bible says, "no thief can enter heaven." Using the name of God and Jesus as a curse word made me a blasphemer. The Bible says, "He will not hold him blameless who takes His name in vain." Wow! I wasn't so good afterall.Then I heard the good news. "While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." God came to this earth as the man Jesus Christ. He lived a sinless life. Then He was beaten, tortured, and hung on a cross to die for the sins of the world. He took on the punishment that we deserve for sinning against a holy and righteous God. Three days later He rose and defeated death. He then offered us eternal life in heaven. The only thing He asks of us is that we put our trust in Him and not our own goodness to save us and to turn away from our sinful ways.
