With over 8 years clocked behind the decks,six of those spent as a devoted Drum and Bass junkie, Cricket is sure to please! Getting bitten by the techno bug in 98, his roots stem as far back as KISS and Slayer. Florida breaks was the first genre, experimentation with funky and electro breaks went on for a while. "Just playing what I heard in the clubs mostly, until... I heard Dn'B for the first time and I knew what it was that I was meant to mix. The evil warped basslines so reminded me of the metal I grew up with, scratching so similar to a wicked guitar solo. I guess that's what gives me that sick & twisted sound. Or maybe I'm just sick!"
Cricket has rocked many underground events throughout Central and Southern Florida over the past four years with no sign of letting up! He joined forces with Orbital Grooves Radio in March of 03. Beginning with a four hour show on Sunday afternoons that showcased local DnB talent from Jungala.com - ShogunsOfTheDark.com and others. He recently made his second appearance at the Alpha Bar for Torque, Orlando's longest running DrumN'bass weekly, and played the Drop Shop's 2004 Pre WMC party. Alongside CB4 and Supagroover he formed BUFU.us and together they held it down in the BassMint @ Independent Bar from February 04-July 04 for Bass Tuesdays
